Do I need fire alarms?
All new buildings, as well as buildings that have had work done to them (extensions) except Domestic properties, are subject to the Fire alarm regulation. Fire alarm regulations form part of ‘The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005’, known as the ‘RRFSO’. According to these regulations, an FRA (fire risk assessment) must be conducted for all the existing, new, and altered buildings.
